8th Annual September Saturdays Festival on the grounds of the Douglas County Courthouse.

Saturday, September 18th: Heroes Day and the Touch-a-Truck Experience. 11:45 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., with a movie at 8:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 25th: Family Fun Day and the Annual Car and Motorcycle Show. 11:45 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., with a movie at 8:00 p.m. More Information at: September Saturdays.

Sunday, October 3rd, Sunday in the Park at Oakland Cemetery and Zombie Walk.

So far we do not have a website committee chairperson, but Lowell Sims will be helping us keep the front page of the site up to date and Sandy Belk is going to be in charge of posting upcoming events, workshops, any and all of the “send this out to everyone” messages that flood through here all the time.
